Change is hard. Even when the change is objectively positive, it can be scary to take the leap into the unknown or to decide to put in the work to make it happen.

I believe that in therapy, change happens when the client is ready. Sometimes this takes weeks, sometimes it takes years. Sometimes it looks like major changes all at once and sometimes it is a small shaping of your life that is barely noticeable until one day you realize that things are different.

However you choose to approach change, as your therapist, I will be there walking beside you, providing support and gentle nudges for as long as it takes. Until the risk of blossoming is less painful than the risk of staying the same.
