I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering virtual sessions for clients in Connecticut and New York. I have extensive experience working with adolescent girls and their families in a residential treatment setting, but have worked with clients of all ages. I especially enjoy helping teens and young women gain insight into their behaviors, increase their self-esteem, and improve their relationships as they navigate life’s challenges.
I also have a dog and a cat who may make an appearance in virtual sessions from time to time.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am uniquely trained to view individuals in the context of their relationships. This means that I understand that each individual is affected by their interactions with others. It is my goal as a therapist to help you understand how you have been shaped by past experiences and how to build more fulfilling relationships moving forward.
I use a non-judgmental, caring, and genuine approach. I take the time to learn about you and your story and to help you see the patterns that once helped you survive but now no longer serve you. I will create a safe place for you to express emotions, to communicate honestly, and to improve your self-worth.
I understand that change is difficult and will be patient and supportive as you move through this process. I especially enjoy working with clients who have been previously labeled as “resistant” or “difficult”. I believe that in taking the time to truly know and nurture each client, I can help them to create real change in their lives.
